Big Coffee Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support

 

Birth Wight, the Isle of Wight's only provider of hypnobirthing services, is hosting a Big Coffee Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support on 26 September 2014.  The event will take place at West Wight Sports Centre from 10am until midday.
 
A varied selection of cakes, sweet treats and savoury goodies will be available to purchase for a donation towards the charity.  Tea and coffee will be on sale from the sports centre.
 
A raffle will also take place, with a selection of prizes up for grabs from local businesses, including a £25 Birth Wight voucher, which can either be used towards the complete The Wise Hippo Birthing Programme classes provided by the Freshwater based business, or as a free place to attend the next Relax, Breathe and Birth two hour antenatal preparation workshop, due to take place later in the autumn.  Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the day.
 
Helen Wheller, Director of Birth Wight, said: "I host a monthly coffee morning anyway as an opportunity for my clients to meet, socialise and share experiences, but also for interested mums and dads-to-be to come along and hear first hand how the techniques I teach can help them to achieve a calm, confident and comfortable birth.  To be able to host this larger scale Big Coffee Morning in aid of such a worthwhile national charity that does such great work, and has supported people that I've known during such difficult times, is very special.  I look forward to welcoming everyone to come along and enjoy something delicious, chat, socialise and maybe win a little something too!"
